Biographical history
Nació en Santiago de Chile en 1943. Estudió Teoría del Arte en la Universidad de Chile, entre otros estudios. Desde 1973 trabajó como fotógrafo independiente, cubriendo algunas de las historias más importantes de América Latina, como el golpe de Estado en Chile, la guerra en Nicaragua, El Salvador, Guatemala, y otras grandes historias de América Latina. Su mayor actividad en el fotoperiodismo coincidió con la transición a la democracia en Chile.
