Biographical history
Director, productor, guionista, montajista de cine, TV y publicidad. Estudió en Bélgica en la Escuela de Cine de Insas de Bruselas. Sus primeros trabajos fueron A la sombra del sol (1974) y el documental Crónica de Tlacotalpan (1977). En 1987 realiza su primer largometraje: Imagen Latente, película que recibió el Premio Fipresci, en La Habana y el Premio especial del jurado Festival latino, Nueva York 1990. Su segundo largometraje fue Archipiélago, y su tercer largometraje: La Lección de pintura, proyecto que obtuvo fondos de Fomento Audiovisual 2007 y del Fondo de Producción de Ibermedia de ese mismo año.
