Chapita metálica color plateado que tiene escrito en su borde superior la palabra "Eritrea", y en su borde inferior las siglas "E.P.L.F. (seguido de palabras en otro idioma)" ambas palabras en color azul claro. (Las siglas se refieren al Eritrean People's Liberation Front) En medio se puede apreciar una antorcha amarilla con la llama roja. Aparecen además un martillo y lo que podría ser una picota cruzadas bajo la primera. Creando un semicírculo alrededor hay una especie de cadena con puntas y completando la otra mitad del círculo, un rama.
