La Coordinadora Democrática de Mujeres a través de de una conferencia de prensa, repudia los hechos ocurridos durante la visita de Pinochet a Antofagasta, desatándose la violencia contra mujeres y jóvenes, práctica sistemática de la dictadura, donde fueron detenidas integrantes de dicha coordinadora.
