La Segunda es un periódico chileno, fundado en 1931, y pertenece a la Empresa El Mercurio S.A.P. cuyos propietarios son la familia Edwards, encabezada por Agustín Edwards Eastman. Su tendencia es conservadora, es el primer periódico chileno en divulgar las informaciones acontecidas en la mañana debido a que es vespertino. Su hora de distribución es a partir de las 14:00 horas.
